CAO Responsibilities

Department of Homeland Security Lines of Business that are the responsibility of the Chief Administrative Officers include asset management (logistics, real estate, personal property, aviation, transportation, fleet, marine vessels), mail screening and delivery, occupational safety and health, environmental planning (including NEPA) and management, historic preservation, energy management, knowledge management, (records, directives, forms, library services, and printing and graphics).

Overall Forum Objective

Forum Speakers will describe and discuss the latest Department of Homeland Security Administrative Services' plans, initiatives and policies. Breakout sessions will include discussions on best practices, evolving systems, regulations and compliance programs. The Forum will promote the concept of organizational excellence.

Component staff and contractors responsible for managing Administrative Services Lines of Business in their geographic location (i.e., Regions, District, or Zone) or in a major facility
