I would like to invite you to attend my 2011 CAO Forum. This year’s Forum will be held from January 10 – 13 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.
Our theme for the Forum is Training → Technology → Transformation. As a participant you will be able to attend a number of training and professional development sessions that will accelerate your capabilities and job performance and enable you to stay abreast of the many changes occurring across DHS, and in particular, across Administrative Services. You will hear about new Departmental initiatives directly from the Secretary or her representative; and you will better understand your role in DHS from the perspective of the Undersecretary for Management and each of the Department Line of Business Chiefs.
The Forum is a must for Managers and Specialists from across DHS in Real Property, Personal Property, Mobile Assets, Mail Management, Environmental Management, Environmental Planning/Historic Preservation, Employee Safety and Health, Energy and Fuels Management, Records Management, Library Services, Printing, Forms, and Directives Management.
2011 promises to be an exciting and challenging year for all of us. We must continue to integrate and streamline administrative services across the Department. We must learn to do more with less.
